In 2018, two parents of Junior members undertook a sponsored cycle from Berwick to Newcastle to raise funds and aid the development of the Junior section; inspired by them, a team of brave (although some may say, foolhardy), individuals will be embarking upon a special cycle ride from Whitehaven on the north-west coast in Cumbria to Hartlepool on the north-east coast.

Jan, Steve, Paul, Dan, Pete, Chris and David are challenging themselves across Friday, 3rd April, 2020 to Sunday, 5th April, 2020. Taking in over 135 miles, their C2C adventure will take in the Lake District, the Pennines and the Wear Valley, ending at Park Drive.

A few cricket grounds will be cycled past en route home, including Keswick, the Emirates at Chester-le-Street, Hetton Lyons and South Hetton. Overnight stays have been arranged for Threlkeld and just outside of Nenthead.
